The Challenge

Investment Officer needed to extend their financial news platform to mobile devices, enabling readers to access investment news, market research, fund analysis, and podcasts on the go. The platform covers complex financial topics across multiple countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France) and needed a mobile solution that could handle diverse content types while maintaining excellent user experience and readability.

Our Solution

We developed a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter for both iOS and Android, delivering a native-feeling experience on both platforms. The app features a beautifully designed user interface optimized for reading financial news and articles. We integrated a comprehensive podcast player that allows users to listen to IO Talks and other audio content seamlessly. The application syncs with Investment Officer's content management system to deliver real-time news updates, market research reports, fund analyses, and opinion pieces. We implemented push notifications to keep users informed about breaking financial news and new content releases.
